Abstract
The article presents a scientific justification for the feasibility of using mass timber (CLT, Glulam) in the process of post-war reconstruction of urban infrastructure. Based on the results of mathematical modeling of the carbon balance, it has been established that the application of Mass Timber technologies enables the material to store up to 900 kg of CO₂ per 1 m³. A comparative analysis with traditional reinforced concrete solutions has demonstrated the advantages of timber engineering, particularly a reduction in construction time by up to 70% and a decrease in structural weight by approximately five times. Based on the obtained results, recommendations have been developed for the creation of a regional production cluster in the Kharkiv region.
