Abstract
To mitigate resource waste and environmental pollution caused by the disposal and accumulation of wooden furniture and to promote the circular utilization of wood materials, this study comparatively analysed the mature recycling mechanisms of countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Japan, along with the structural deficiencies of China's existing system. Based on this analysis, this research innovatively proposes an “Information Flow-Logistics-Value Flow” collaborative optimization framework. The core of this framework is the establishment of a five-level graded disposal system based on the “4R” principles of green design, which aims to improve the energy conversion efficiency and resource recovery rate of discarded furniture by optimizing material selection and adjusting production processes. Simultaneously, optimizing digital platforms, logistics and operations, and governance and incentive mechanisms can significantly enhance the resource value of discarded furniture, achieving a win-win situation for economic and social benefits. This provides an ecologically friendly and economically feasible system solution for the green transformation of the furniture industry.
